Retired!
Before I retired I use to be a Senior Inspection Engineer at Intero Integrity, located in Tricht, the Netherlands. My job was to inspect pipelines and the field of activity is mainly petro-chemical. The inspections are worldwide (both on- and offshore) and are performed by small specialized teams. In the past twenty years I have been to England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Canary Islands, Portugal, United Arabic Emirates, the USA (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, California, Alaska), Australia and Japan (Okinawa).

I spent a great deal of my time behind a screen.At home I got several boxes. The picture is some years old but it gives a nice impression. My boxes run mainly on Linux: Ubuntu on my desktop, webserver and netbook. The netbook has dual boot so Nelly can use XP.
